Whales and Puffins RIB boat

Experience the wildlife and nature adventure of a lifetime on our most personal whale watching tour. The custom made RIB boats allow you to get closer to the whales and puffins than any boats can offer. These fast, stable and safe boats also allow us to cover more area as we search for the wild life, increasing your chances of spotting whales, dolphins and birds. 

This great whale watching tour starts from the old harbour of Reykjavík. First we visit the puffins in their natural habitat on the islands in the bay. Next we head out in search of the whales.  After our whale safari we travel back to Reykjavík, where we will take a ride along the shore line, viewing the City it from the sea and enjoy the view of the glittering Harpa Concert Hall.

Duration: 2 hours

Pick up: 45 minutes prior to departure. 

Departure location: The Old Harbour of Reykjavík (pier Ægisgarður), which is located in Ægisgata.

Operation:  April 15th to October 31st, daily

Included: Expertly guided  whale and puffin watching tour on a 12 seat RIB boat. From the 15th of May - 20th of August the tour also includes puffin watching. Trip also offers Reykjavík sightseeing and a stop at the Harpa Concert Hall. We supply warm overalls, gloves, goggles and all necessary safety equipment.

Bring with you: Dress warmly for our northern ocean, so if you have it, bring warm outdoor clothing like a  wool or fleece sweater, some warm headgear and gloves. Sturdy shoes are recommended. A warm overall and more gear provided.

Minimum age: 10 years or 145 cm height

Note: Please note that for your enjoyment, this tour is subject to weather and conditions at sea and therefore it could get cancelled on short notice.
