Golden Circle and Glacier

This popular daytrip includes both a tour of the iconic Golden Circle and an unforgettable glacier adventure.

First, enjoy the Þingvellir National Park, an UNESCO World Heritage Site listing and the location of the world´s oldest existing parliament. The boundaries of the American and Eurasian tectonic plates run through the area, pulling the ground apart at a rate of 2 cm a year.

Next visit the iconic Geysir Hot Springs where the world-famous geyser Strokkur erupts every few minutes to the delight of onlookers. Thereafter, we’ll stop at the majestic Gullfoss Waterfall. Here the Hvítá glacial river cascades down 32 metres on two levels into a deep canyon, creating a breath-taking spectacle.

Our fourth and final stop is Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s second largest ice cap. Custom-made Super Trucks will bring you to the foot of the glacier where the snowmobile base-camp is located. From there we head off on an unforgettable snowmobile tour across the ice cap, surrounded by amazing panoramic views.

Our partner, Reykjavík Sightseeing, boasts a brand new bus fleet equipped with modern comforts such as a USB charger and WiFi connected computer tablets in each seat that include a GPS Sensitive In-Bus Audio Guide, available in ten languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin) and German.
