Glacier Lagoon - Mini bus tour

Glacier Lagoon tour takes you to visit the charming village of Vík and continues through spectacular scenery, lava fields, and a black sandy desert all the way to the magnificent Glacier Lagoon. From May to September a boat ride on the Glacier Lagoon is included in the tour. In the winter months the boat tours are not available. You will be able to walk between the icebergs on so-called “Diamond” beach“. This is a black sand beach at the coastline near the Glacier Lagoon and very often there are many icebergs washed up on to the beach which creates a spectacular view. We will also visit the village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, stopping to admire beautiful waterfalls along the way. Our journey continues on to Skaftafell National Park and we make a stop at Svínafellsjökull glacier tongue. As we make our way back towards Reykjavik we might be able to catch a glimpse of the eternal kiss of the Icelandic trolls along the way before we will visit the serene, beautiful 100-meter deep Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. We will also make a stop at one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls – Seljalandsfoss waterfall. We will make extra stops if time allows as well. Glacier Lagoon tour is truly something you’ll never forget!

In summer the tour includes a 60 min. Zodiac boat ride (May to September) Please note that children shorter than 100 cm are not advised to participate on Zodiac boat.

WINTER VERSION of the Glacier Lagoon tour. We do reserve the right to alter the tour as needed if road or weather conditions are unfavorable.
