Horses & Golden Circle

Is there a better way to start the day than with a horse riding tour in the beautiful mountain area of the historical Mosfellsdalur valley? How about adding an extra cherry on the top and go directly afterward to visit Iceland’s most famous nature pearls?

Riding the Icelandic horse is the perfect way to get in touch with Icelandic nature. Once you are out of the saddle you will be picked up by a bus and head to the Golden Circle. First stop will be Þingvellir national park, a protected national shrine of all Icelanders due to its historical significance, its unique geology, and natural features. From there you will carry on to the impressive waterfall Gullfoss, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland.  Last but surely not the least you will visit the geothermal area Geysir with its boiling mud pits and spouting hot springs, the lively Strokkur spouts water about 30 meters (100 ft) into the air every few minutes.
