South Shore Adventure

Stand behind the Seljalandsfoss waterfall as it plummets from the slopes of Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano that erupted in 2010 and caused disruption to aircraft schedules all over Europe. Walk up to the top of Skógafoss waterfall and look across to the volcano and the glaciers. See some of nature’s most fascinating rocky creations carved by ice, floodwaters and the mighty Atlantic breakers that pummel the shoreline around the village of Vík í Mýrdal.
